At the time this past year when I was looking for a better match for the stewardship of my investments, I happened to be having dinner with a friend here in Fayetteville. I hadn't seen Lance Belline in a while, but when I looked up and saw him expertly using chop sticks at a nearby table, I just had to tell him how impressed I was with his manual dexterity. I've known Lance since I moved to Fayetteville back in 2006, but didn't think I was ready for a financial planner until I retired this past year. That was mistake #1. It's never too soon to start planning for retirement. Live and learn. Mistake #2 was not going to Lance first. Why didn't I? Like I said, Mistake #2.
