I had a custom kitchen cabinets built and installed by Nelson's cabinet Shop done about 4 years ago. I waited to write this review because I wanted to see how they held up through normal use. The workmanship is superior and I love them as much as the first day they were installed! I wish all contractors were as honest and take pride in what they build as Nelson's Cabinet shop. Lee Nelson is an expert at his craft. He is a stickler for detail and takes pride in his finished product. He built an entire house of cabinetry for us to my exact specifications. I found him easy and fun to work with and his cabinetry was an affordable option for our house. He is highly concerned about quality and went to a lot of effort to meet my expectations. He built a custom range hood that is amazing in its detail and structure with curves and slopes and trim. He also made a built-in china cabinet that I saw on Pinterest exactly to my specifications. He would not accept anything that was not exactly right and he refused to charge extra for any changes that were necessary to meet my expectations. All of his drawers and doors are soft-close and he is very knowledgeable about his industry. He makes his products from scratch and builds them to last. The range hood, china cabinet and fireplace mantel are the show-stoppers of my home. They aways get noticed and commented on. *** is Godly man and genuinely cares about his customer and the product he provides. His integrity does not allow him to take short cuts and his care for our project extended even to helping us through a very difficult time with the unscrupulous builder we were dealing with.
