I can't say enough about how well Larry G. Acklin Funeral Homes cared for my sister and my family during a very difficult time. They are professional and caring.

We had time of need service when my mother passed in 2016, which means the funeral home only gets a minimum amount for basic services - release of body, transfer to crematorium, arrangement of obituary, and giving us the ashes. Acklin was by far the most economical in the River Valley but more than that, they provided kinder attention than I received during a comparable (vastly overpriced) experience from a Russellville funeral home. Acklin could have been dismissive toward a poorer customer but instead they were responsive and professional every step of the way.

Losing a loved one is never easy. Especially in these crazy times of Coronavirus. When my father passed away a week ago, we chose Larry G. Acklin Funeral Homes because we had heard such good things about them. They were exactly what we needed. Comforting, kind and helpful. They took care of everything, very reasonably priced, and a great comfort to us in a time of sorrow. I recommend them highly.
