About Adams Eye Care Clinic
Adams Eye Care Clinic is known for its friendly and caring staff, with patients often feeling treated like family rather than just another number. The clinic's staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and committed to providing excellent service, and the doctor is described as thorough, kind, and caring. Patients appreciate the immediate attention given in urgent situations, such as when a veteran had a metal sliver in his eye, and praise the doctor for his genuine concern. Many reviewers have been long-term patients, highlighting the professionalism and friendliness of the staff over the years. However, some recent experiences with the front desk have been less positive, especially regarding insurance issues and billing errors. There have been frustrations with computer program changes, incorrect billing, and difficulty scheduling appointments or ordering glasses. One patient shared that a broken frame was not initially replaced, although it was eventually resolved after speaking with the office manager. Overall, the clinic is appreciated for its quick and effective care, especially in urgent cases, and its cleanliness and professionalism are highly rated. While the quality of care is excellent, some find the prices for glasses to be steep and suggest buying glasses elsewhere unless covered by insurance. Despite some service hiccups, Adams Eye Care Clinic remains a trusted place for eye care for many patients.
We have taken my son to see Dr Adam's for 7 years. He has always been great but the service at the front has gone down hill over the past year. They switched computer programs lost all insurance information so we had to provide this for them more than one time to get it correct. Then they billed it wrong. said I owed after we left our appointment. She called to tell me while I was driving and asked me to provide payment information right then. even after I told her I was driving. We have never had a copay because it's covered through ssi. They argued with me. Later a screw came out of my sons frames. we took them up their and the lady who does glasses broke the arm and they refused to be held responsible. said we would have to purchase another pair. It took my husband calling the office manager and having a fit to get them to replace the frames. Forward to today. Called to order a second pair of frames and was told we need to call back because she is busy and will be for awhile. seriously? didn't bother to take a message. we are fed up and will be looking for a different provider. it's a shame considering how great the Dr. is. It's not just the doctor who makes it a business. customer service goes a long ways and when that goes so does the customer.
