My only complaint about this place is that I wish I had learned about them years ago. They run the place like every boarding kennel should be run (IMO). The place is set far back from any streets with layers of fencing, the owner's house in on the property with the kennels, outdoor/ potty time is 5x a day, kennels are relatively spacious with most of them allowing in natural light. You can pay for added bonuses of longer walks. A great find.
Our fur baby Hank had a great stay at River Valley Kennel Resort! He was happy, healthy, and well exercised when we picked him up after his 10 day stay. We could tell he fit in and liked his new home away from home! Hank will certainly go back to Joe and Susanna the next time we travel and he can't go with us. I recently boarded my 2 dogs and they were beyond wonderful with them! They spoiled them rotten and I am not sure they wanted to come home!! They went above and beyond with EVERYTHING they did for my dogs and they have found a new home away from home! I couldn’t be happier with my experience and I look forward to bringing them back. This place really knows dogs and they feel the same about our little furry friends as we do! Without hesitation I would recommend them to anyone who wants a safe, secure, loving, an active environment for the dogs when they need to board them! Thanks for all you did for my Ally and Cheyenne while they were there! You guys are beyond awesome!
