Great small business!
I'm from Hot Springs and made the drive out to Malvern to pick up our new flock of chicks. Doug is knowledgeable, friendly, offers helpful tips, advice, and has all the supplies you might need for all of your animals. He offers a better selection of the 'fancy' chicken breeds, and thats one reason I prefer to do business here. He has other livestock available, boots, tack, etc. His prices are lower than the box, and other farming stores too, and personally I'd rather support a small business anyway! Our chicks were all very healthy and we didn't lose a single one.
Doug is the nicest guy. I knew nothing about raising chickens and he helped me so much. Sold me birds but gave me tips and tricks for DIY things to use to raise them. Going back for more birds soon.
Love supporting a small business! I think this place is getting over looked in the community. Plenty of feed and plant options and good deals on birds. $5 for chicks already a couple weeks old when I was in there. $16 for rare breed turkeys, $12 for goslings.
