My husband, WB Loyd, was fine until he started dialysis 3 years ago.

Six months later, he couldn’t walk and has been in a wheelchair for 2.5 years. He had tons of medical tests, even a nerve conduction test at UAMS motion clinic and nothing showed why he can’t walk.

His leg muscles are very contracted. Even taking muscle relaxers doesn’t help. He had one Botox injection but it didn’t help either.

Have any of your patients had problems walking after starting dialysis? The first 6 months he was on dialysis, he drove himself to the clinic.

Dr. Shane Kimbrell is my doctor. I’ve not had a better experience with any other physician over my long life. He readily answers any questions I might have but also asks detailed questions about every health aspect I might be dealing with, even health issues that are outside his chosen field of practice. Dr. Kimbrell was highly recommended by my PCP and I am grateful for his referral. Dr. Kimbrell should receive more than a five star rating but of course, this site doesn’t offer a 10 star rating....?????

I have been a patient of Dr. Kimball for about 10 years. I would recommend him to anyone. The health of my kidneys is his first concern. He also works with my other doctors to make sure my treatments are not conflicting.
