Arkansas Riding Stables offers a great experience in the beautiful Lake Catherine State Park. They provide 45-minute rides through scenic woods, suitable for all experience levels. Families appreciate the well-trained horses and memorable moments together. While the location is somewhat hidden, they offer reasonable prices. The staff, including Allison and Alex, are described as lovely and accommodating. The horses, such as Rusty, Ace, King, and Sam, are well-cared-for and gentle, putting even nervous riders at ease. The guides, like Bella, lead the riders through the beautiful forest trails, where they can spot wildlife like white-tailed deer. Guests consistently recommend the stable for an excellent and memorable experience.
My horse was Sam. He was GREAT. The trail isn’t too scenic but it’s nice dense woods for a 45 min ride! Only $60 per person which is a pretty good deal. My friend and her daughter hadn’t ridden before and they had a ton of fun.
The entire staff was awesome!! It was a great way to introduce the kids to riding. The horses were well trained and beautiful! We did the Lake Catherine ride but plan to go back for the Degray Lake ride. Thanks to everyone for a memorable moment for our family!! ❤️
