Walked into this barber shop for my sons simple cut and fade after suffering bigoted maltreatment from one down the road. And I'm glad we deserted that first one, otherwise we'd never have had the experience offered by Rays.We were seen immediately after a chair was vacated, listened to, communicated with, and my son was given the exact cut and fade that he'd pictured in his head. He is extremely satisfied with his haircut.Rays barbershop has been there for some time. Its quaint and full of character, with the obligatory group of 'ol boys idly bull$#!¡ing and lolling about. Awesome and dedicated barber Billy Ray is! I'm sure he's been in business over 40 years and I'm proud, appreciative, and inspired of his service in the community. If you're over 40 or looking for that classic old school cut,... this is the stop you want while in the city. As for the younger generation... you could luck up find his son chopping. If not, lines and facial grooming is preferred.
