While passing through the area, I stopped for a hike at Village Creek State Park with my GSD puppy. During the hike, he attempted to jump a ravine and fell short, landing awkwardly. He cried out and began limping badly, so I carried him out and immediately called Gehring Veterinary Clinic near our hotel.
They saw us right away and treated my puppy with incredible kindness and care. The staff examined him thoroughly, reassured me that nothing serious was wrong, and took the time to calm both of us down. They told me he would be just fine by the time we made it home; and they were absolutely right.
