From Beard's Funeral Chapel
We at Beard’s Funeral Chapel of Northwest Arkansas are committed to serving the family at their time of need. We want Beard’s to be as comfortable and pleasant as possible. That is what we think is lacking in today’s “plain old traditional service.” We are dedicated to the philosophy of “family serving families.”
Beard’s Funeral Chapel opened in June 1997, and is locally owned and operated. We are a full-service funeral home with full traditional services, as well as cremation services ranging from direct cremation, through memorial services, and rental casket service. Our crematorium is on site at our facility, where your loved one will be cared for respectfully by our kind and trustworthy staff.
Beards was beyond accommodating when handling my father’s funeral. Any request we had simple or odd they handled it like a pro. Especially coordinating with the Fayetteville police so that a racecar could lead our procession and carry my father’s ashes to his final resting place. They made planning his funeral as easy as it could be.
We had my daughter's funeral here. They did a good job. The place was lovely. Because there was a HUGE CROSS I did wonder if they take the cross down for Buddhist or Muslim or Pagan funerals OR ARE THESE POPULATIONS UNDERSERVED?The funeral director was unobtrusive, there to help but to allow us to grieve. They only problem at had was from the Fayetteville Police Department, because they only had one officer show up AND HE WAS LATE. He suggested we wait for another officer. This caused problems with the food delivery and so I had to skip going to the cemetery to help with food. But it wasn't the directors fault. He was super nice and respectful.
