Chestnut has been helping out pets since they were kittens, even with many problems. The staff takes pet owners seriously and is persistent on finding the problem. Pets can be brought in without an appointment, if necessary, and the facility is very clean. The staff is friendly, polite, competent, and professional, as well as patient. Chestnut Animal Clinic has worked with various pets, including a dog, a Canada Goose, and a kangaroo. The clinic has provided excellent care for a client's cat, who was not eating or drinking, and found the cat had a serious UTI. The staff kept the cat overnight, provided antibiotics, and the cat is now back to its playful self.
I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. I brought my neighbors cat and unfortunately she had to be put down. They did an awesome job explaining to me and my neighbor about her baby Bonnie and what the options we had. They gave their medical opinion. They were very thorough about the cost. They also provided the option of cremation. I would recommend this vet to anyone. They also offer cherry pay.
We had an emergency on a Friday morning with a member of our family “Tuff”. He was only 8 yrs old, super active, this morning he wasn’t. Could barely lift his head at times. We called chestnut, they worked us in. Our little boy couldn’t be saved. Sage came out kneeled down and showed us what was happening to our boy in detail. One of the drs brought us out a blanket to hold him in while we held him to be put to sleep.It was an awful day.They were so compassionate and kind.
My dog had gotten into a scuffle with a Racoon not bad but a puncture wound to his leg. Thank goodness utd with vaccines. Anyway, they had no open slots in my local area and drove 41 minutes away to see them. They took him in got him cleaned up and a fancy yellow bandage. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very friendly from front to the Doctor. Thank you!
