I wanted to share my experience with Mike. I called him yesterday because we discovered a propane leak beneath our stovetop, which was really scary. Mike answered right away, was incredibly polite, and immediately gave me confidence that he knew exactly how to handle the situation. He’s clearly in high demand—he didn’t have an opening until Monday—but he still took the time to help. This morning, he called me back to let me know he had a cancellation and could come earlier. I ended up going with someone who could get here even faster because I was genuinely afraid our kitchen might blow up before anyone arrived. But I want to be clear: I wouldn’t hesitate to call Mike again. There’s a reason he’s been in business for 35 years. I truly appreciate that he tried to fit us in sooner and showed real concern about the situation. If it hadn’t felt like an emergency, we absolutely would have waited for our appointment with him. I hope he understands why we had to choose someone else, and I wanted to make sure his future clients know how much he clearly cares. Thanks again, Mike!

Summer time in Iowa is HOT! In my opinion, there just isn’t anything worse than coming to terms with your home air conditioner not working… It’s not only uncomfortable, it’s expensive, it’s a hassle, it’s basically just a handful of unpleasant experiences all bundled together to make one miserable experience… unless you call Shaal’s…I knew my system’s days were numbered. I also knew that no matter what, I needed someone I trusted to help me through the entire process. Seeing how much Angie Moffitt enjoyed working at Shaal’s, I knew Shaal’s was the place for me. Upon making the initial call, I spoke with Kinsie about requesting Angie, and of course she was happy to. It felt right from the start. As I am usually patient with these types “emergencies,” I was surprised to be seemingly bumped up since they knew I was completely down. They didn’t have to do that- but they did. And I was able to get an appointment sooner than I had thought.Once Angie arrived, she took great care in keeping things clean, professional, and thorough. She had another great Shaal’s tech with her -Adriana. Both of them together made the entire experience as smooth and as hassle free as possible.One funny thing that happened was while hosing out my old a/c unit, my water line in my basement burst. Obviously this was bound to happen whoever was going to use the hose next… The amount of compassion and concern those two showed was amazing. The situation was completely laughable- they made an even worse situation almost enjoyable.Again, I was bumped up when Dave with the Comfort team had an opening in his schedule just later that afternoon. He made every option clear and help weigh the pros and cons of what “my” decision would mean to me. I found yet another Shaal’s employee that I gained trust in and was happy to spend time with.As is the case for most of us, I just do not have a lot of wiggle room in an already over spent budget. I was told a couple of times that day that “we may not be the cheapest, and we aren’t the most expensive” To me, that is so important. When I need to squeeze the budget even more, I want to know that I am getting an incredible value for my money. Shaal’s has infact found a way to give me that value. I now have an HVAC company that actually cares about my families needs and will be there the next time I need service. I CANNOT THANK ANGIE AND THE ENTIRE SHAALS FAMILY ENOUGH. You made a typically miserable experience almost pleasant and enjoyable. I know it’s all of our expectation that with a new system, I’ll be seeing less of you- but you can believe I will be telling everyone I know that if they are in need- call the super heroes in green and blue.In the end, the final price alone means nothing. Getting the best service with a great price made me feel at ease and confident I made the right call. I can’t wait for the install.
