“I was in the area visiting family this past spring and had an event coming up. I had a very specific style in mind that required a very last minute silk press and Sheena was just who I needed to see! I found her on TikTok and contacted her about getting one done and explained that it was my first time. Being natural for 10+ years with 100% 4c hair and never having put heat on my hair prior made me nervous. Sheena was very responsive and quickly gave me a call and explained everything to me along with her recommendations. I booked the appointment for the next day and was still nervous when I walked in but my nerves were put to ease as my hair was getting done because Sheena explained everything that she was doing and answered all of my questions. She was very patient with me and did not burn/ hurt me at any point (which I was also afraid of). She made sure that I was comfortable and even offered me snacks. My hair came out so beautiful! Seriously I couldn't even believe it was MY hair! That's how well she did. She also took time to examine my hair and tell me what it needed but did not pressure me into making any rash decisions which I appreciated. My silk press lasted over a month and when I washed my hair it completely reverted back with no heat damage whatsoever. Sheena is officially my Arkansas stylist and so far the only stylist that I completely trust with my natural hair. Anytime I go visit the area I will be visiting her salon. I highly recommend her. Especially if you are someone who is picky with who touches your hair!“
