My family very sadly had to put our old girl down today. Dr. Green was extremely patient with us as we said our goodbyes, extremely thorough in explaining the process and answering our questions, and noticeably empathetic during the process. He didn’t just do the procedure and leave. He took his time, gave her “one last treat” and even took the time to let her sit and enjoy it, talked to her and petted her during, and even after our girl was gone. He treated her delicately until the very end, and looked at her with so much compassion. It was clear he genuinely cared about her and was sorry that it was her time. My dog is my baby, but she is BIG- Cane Corso so if you know this breed they are protective. She doesn’t like someone she doesnt know messing with her. With that being said, Alma Animal Clinic was the BEST with her- they understood her, treated her so good! I was so impressed and happy. I know my dog is alot and she has to be muzzled but they treated her like they would have treated an easier breed to handle. Thank you to the vet and staff!! You’re the best!
weve been coming here for a few years now and they’ve always been good with our dogs. the vets are pretty straightforward about what’s needed and what’s not, which i appreciate. they dont try to upsell you on a bunch of extra stuff every time you walk in. only thing is the wait can be really hit or miss sometimes last time we were there it took like 45 min past our appointment time just to get seen. parking lot is tiny too it can be a pain if youre there during a busy time. overall they take good care of the animals so its worth the hassle now and then.
