I wasn't gonna do this but I have to..this is the 2nd time my air has went out...last month whoever they hired for maintenance he's a real piece of work..He takes all day to get to my home..then he sits in his truck for an hour on his phone before he gets to work....yes an hour because I recorded him...then he tells me he need to order a part an it won't be in until tomorrow morning. We'll the next day he showed up late in the evening an did his normal one hour sit in his truck before getting to work. He didn't put in the new thermostat like he said. Out of the rental properties I’ve had in Tuscaloosa, Blakney was the worst! They are definitely slum lords. My house flooded when it rained. They never came to fix it, after lying and said they would. When I finally moved, they only gave me $400 of the $1200 deposit. Kerry is the worst Landlord ever!

I moved in a property owned by Blakeney in Mid May 2023. I was out by November 2023. Blakeney rented me a home knowing that there was a rat infestation. I thought it may have been squirrels because of how loud they scratched and . They were everywhere. In the walls, the attic, under the tub.....LITERALLY EVERYWHERE! The first day that I moved in, I saw rat poop and a horrible urine smell. I called Kerri and she said she didn't know. I texted her and spoke with her several times. I sent pics and recordings of what I was hearing and she never sent anyone out. All she cared about was getting her rent money which was $1200 a month.
