“Dec. 2022. This barbershop has been in this location for about 6 years. The outside sign shows the creative flavor of the owner. The sign just invites you into a place where you will feel very welcomed. I love going to barbershops. In my experience, the people at hair salons are reticent about cutting a woman's hair really short; whereas, the men at the barbershop have no problem with cutting, fading and lining at sista's head. No problem at all. This was the pleasant experience at this shop also. Terrinon (I hope I spelled it correctly), the owner and another barber were in the shop when I entered. Everyone greeted me at the owner asked me how may I help you? And he seemed really surprised when I said I wanted to cut. But he was probably surprised because my hair is already rather low from other peoples standards. And I sit in Teryan's chair and described what I wanted. He talked me through his process told me what he was going to do and also let me know that at each stage he would stop and ask me if everything is OK before he cut any further. I really like this communication, and I appreciated the transparency of his telling me his process before he took clippers to my hair. The conversation in the barbershop was jovial. There were a few TVs on sports information shows which is totally fine with me. I also really liked the signs that warned the customers to use no profanity in this establishment and to keep their children under control. I really liked the signs and the fact that the owner and the other barbers were adamant about keeping a nice clean family friendly establishment.I visit Mobile often. So I will keep this place in mind when I'm in Mobile and I need a cut.“
“Got my haircut yesterday at the Coast Guard ATC Barber Shop for the first time. A fella named Johnny was filling in for Rita who is the regular Barber according to Johnny. He did a great job. A haircut was $14 put I gave him a $5 tip. Forgot to check the price list to see if there was a discount for Military Retirees of Senior Citizens. Note: You have to be Active Duty Military, Retired Military, or have a valid Military ID to use this Barber which includes dependents.Service: Haircut“
