I was a tenant at a property recently, I kept the house clean and in order. We did need some paint but I hired my own painter apparently the job wasn’t good enough. My security deposit was $2200 but I got an email this morning stating that wasn’t enough to cover paint, garage door opener ($138) and to have the yard cut($150). And that I would have to pay $3,800. In the email there was a threat of taking me to court without even discussing these absolutely ridiculous charges. Mind you, I have never missed a month of my rent. SELLERS AND BUYERS BEWARE. 0 N Pickett ST, Autaugaville Alabama 36003 I am a retired disabled military veteran with over 23 years of service. I am a native of Prattville Alabama. I went into the military to serve my country and to protect freedom so that Mrs. Davies could have an opportunity to enjoy what so many have forgotten. I have been gone for over 35 years. I submitted a contract in December 2022 to purchase land in Prattville with the hopes of building my dream home and assisting my elderly parents. I was contacted in February 2023 regarding title issues related to the property. at which time I learned that the seller was an elderly lady living out of state. I asked if the seller was competent to make the transaction and was assured that she was. Ms. Davies insisted that the seller would not sign the contract to release me from the purchase due to the title issues. It is now July 2023 and I have yet to receive my binder. I personally spoke with Robin Davies, the broker regarding my binder. She stated that she was going to keep the binder until the seller signs the release. I have signed and submitted the form that I was required to sign. Why is an elderly person involved in a contract that she is not competent to fulfill? Why hasn't my binder been returned due to the incompetent actions of the broker? SELLERS AND BUYERS BEWARE.
