While visiting my sister-in-law in Pleasant Grove, she surprised me with a manicure at Elegant Nail and Alterations on Park Road, and wow — what an amazing treat! My manicure came out absolutely beautiful, and they took such great care and attention with every detail. I left feeling completely pampered!

On top of that, I also needed my pants taken in since I’ve lost some weight, and they did the alteration perfectly. It fit like it was made just for me!

Elegant Nails and Alterations is the only place I trust for clothing alterations. They have altered all of my cheerleading uniforms as well as numerous dresses — both short and long, including nice cocktail dresses. They are incredibly trustworthy and always handle my pieces with care. Their turnaround time is fast, and every item I’ve received back fits perfectly. I highly recommend them!

I have been to this location multiple times, especially since its located in my neighborhood! I normally only go for eyebrow waxing. I have been a few times for a gel nail manicure and I was not pleased each time due to the gel nail polish chipping before 2 weeks, sometimes even just a few days after getting them done, they began to chip! So this time I wanted to try the SNS nails instead. I have been to multiple nail shops all over the Birmingham area and I have not found one salon to do a good job with the SNS application. I can honestly say this nail salon did a good job with SNS. Definitely looking forward to going back! The only reason I gave this location 1 less star was because even though there were 2 people in chairs getting there nails done and no one else in the salon waiting but me, when it was my turn, I felt very rushed! She was going back and fourth between me and another lady sitting next to me. Otherwise, the SNS application was far better than everywhere else I have tried. This time it actually looks like gel nails instead of thick layered acrylic!I'm really hoping this will truly last 3-4 weeks.
