“A couple weeks ago I went to gustos and I told them I’ve been getting my haircut fr great clips for school but now I’m graduated and I’m trying to look right and that’s all I needed to say for them to give me the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life they gave me a medium high skin fade and trimmed my goatee really well making me look the freshest I’ve ever looked. “Took my 2-year-old son Case for his very first haircut, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were walk-ins and got welcomed right in with basically no wait at all, which already made things easier with a toddler.
The setup is AMAZING, especially if you have little ones who get distracted easily or you’re nervous about how they’ll react to getting their hair cut for the first time. Genesis Barber studio Latino, has private rooms with TVs and couches, so it feels calm and comfortable instead of loud and overwhelming. Huge bonus for parents.
Carlos was incredibly patient, kind, and good with Case. He took his time, made him feel comfortable, and never acted rushed even with a squirmy toddler involved. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and cares about making it a good experience.
Also, the artwork in his station is really cool. His wife is super talented too, definitely worth checking out if you’re there.
And for all that, the price was beyond reasonable. $15 for that level of service and care is hard to beat.
We will absolutely be back, and I’d highly recommend them to anybody, especially parents bringing in little ones for their first haircut.“
