Moon Spa & Massage offers a serene and welcoming atmosphere with calming music and candlelight. The staff is very friendly and nice. Clients are provided with a menu of different massage options to choose from. The massages are excellent, perfect, and address trouble areas with a mix of medium to deep tissue. The therapists are great, provide professional opinions on specific issues, and offer advice to alleviate pain in areas like the neck, shoulders, lower back, and knees. They successfully aid in relieving scar tissue. A drawback is that the place is often short-staffed, so sessions may only be 30 minutes to an hour. There have been mentions of the staff dictating tip amounts, which some feel should be left to the individual.

I’m a disabled veteran. Part of my rehabilitation, on top of chiropractic care and shock wave therapy, is massage therapy. It’s often difficult to get the proper amount of appointments through the VA so I have to pay out of pocket for my own massage therapy at times. I’ve been to a couple different places in the Oxford area, many are good, but I feel that Moon spa addresses a lot of my trouble areas with a mix of medium to deep tissue. It took a few visits but the staff has worked wonderfully with me and has come to know where I need extra attention such as my lower back and left knee. Always a wonderful experience. I have fibromayalgia and every massage I've gotten is thorough and relieves my symptoms for a long time. Very reasonable prices and relaxing environment. Give them a visit and be sure to tip your massage therapist! They deserve it!
