Spent the night in St. Vincent’s ER last night and had the best service and care I’ve ever received in a hospital environment. Andrea and Amy were the best nurses I could have possibly hoped for. They were extremely attentive, responsive when needed, informative when I had questions, and personable. I was in tremendous pain, so their care made the otherwise challenging situation the best it could have possibly been!
The doctor was also fantastic. Could not have asked for a better team. Thank you, St. Vincent’s!
So thankful for UAB St V Blount ER! We were in and out quickly after a wasp stung my son on the neck. He has an allergy so we were very concerned. Everyone was kind and moved quickly to get us in a room, evaluated, and treated. Thank y’all so much!
I arrived at Ascension Saint Vincent's Blount ER at 10am, Thursday May 1st, 2025 with severe stomach pain. I was received by triage nurse Linnette and treated by RNs Sue and Kevin, who gave phenomenal bedside service. I'm a hard stick but Kevin had me on the first go. I spent most my time with Sue who started her shift at 4pm and didn't leave me until the ambulance arrived at about 9:45. The doctor was Grace who diagnosed & explained the Appendicitis. All were cordial, polite, had warm bedside manner and managed my pain completely until...read full review
