My home, a single-family house built in 2010 with about 1,770 square feet, recently needed a roof inspection. I had two different companies come out to assess the condition.
The first company immediately recommended a full roof replacement and quoted me over $30,000. They also pushed financing options pretty aggressively, which felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine consultation.
