I would be very careful of who sees you and demand another opinion if the practitioner is offbase. I developed a fungal infection on my chest that I could not contain. I knew what it was because I had one before a couple of years ago. It had taken +2 months to dx and another month to eradicate. The founder of Approxie was the attending at that time. This time I was on the way out of town to address two family funerals at disparate locations and in a panic because I knew what was coming if I could not get help. I was seen by CNP G.A. She gave the impression she was bored and I was wasting her time. I showed her the rash, explained my history, and implored her to review the file. She merely glanced at me, opinioned "bacterial infection", provided a prescription for an antibiotic, and dismissed me from her presence. I am only a multidegreed engineer of the rocket scientist variery, but even I know the last thing you want do is treat a fungal infection with antibiotics. The antibiotics eradicate the "good" bacteria that normally keeps fungus in check and the fungal infection spreads like wildfire. Akin to pouring gasoline on a fire. I agonized over it but gave her the benefit of the doubt. I took the antibiotics. Sure enough, on day 3 the fungal infection exploded, covering me from knees to neck. While on the road dealing with two family funerals, one of which I was expected to be front and center, all the while staying with friends and family. My only recourse was treat with OTC miconazol. I am going through a can every three days. There has not been nor is there such a thing as sleep because of the burning and itching. I estimate I am only halfway recovered after 10 days. It would be knocked out by now if she had done her job, but instead she a) refused to listen to the patient, b) refused to review the data literally in her hands, and c) did not consider the consequences of her actions if she was wrong. I will use Appoxie again, but will ask for someone else if she walks in the room. I don't have the time or resources for such nonsense. Avoid CNP G.A. like the plague and you should be in good shape.

We had a great experience at ApproXie Urgent Care on Wall Triana. My boys needed a sports physical done last minute for football and they got us right in. There was no wait, they were thorough and super friendly!! We will definitely got back again when needed!!
