Southern House and Garden is a secluded southern wedding venue in Tuscaloosa County, minutes from the University of Alabama. It is a beautiful, pastoral setting on six acres of tree-lined pasture with grazing horses in full view from an enchanting barn. The venue features a beautiful vintage Bella Chapel, which makes for exquisite photos. Every single detail is meticulously planned and executed by a professional, accommodating staff who make the day absolutely flawless and peaceful. They calmly handle everything, are completely open to special requests, and work to make them happen. The venue offers a package with many vendors built in, making planning much less stressful and easy to budget for. This includes beautiful fresh flowers prepared by a premier florist and designer on site who knocks it out of the park with the arrangements. The menu and presentation are provided by a chef, who can also make delicious bride and groom cakes. The event spaces and grounds are stunning, creating a joyful day filled with love. It is a dream to work with from start to finish and is highly recommended for making a special day an absolute dream.
Southern House and Garden sat down with us before our wedding and we were able to completely customize our wedding day. The final product exceeded all of our expectations! The floral arrangements and decor were more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. The food both looked and tasted incredible and don’t even get me started on our bride and groom cakes. So delicious and gorgeous. The grounds were manicured beautifully. Lastly, we can’t express enough thanks or praise the SH&G staff more. They helped make our perfect day exactly what it was… perfect. Saturday October 17, 2020 was our second wedding planned at Southern Home and Garden. It was just as beautiful as our first daughters 7 years ago. They treated my family with such respect and were so helpful. They made planning our weddings a joy and handled every concern. I would highly recommend using this venue to anyone. I would give 10 stars ⭐️ if possible
