I had service from Gardendale Enhabit for over 2 years. I was receiving IV infusions once a month at first and later, my cancer surgeon changed the order to twice a month. I have had other home health services in the past and Enhabit was definitely a cut above the rest. There were very few glitches, but the nurses and office staff were quick and professional to act and/or intervene on my behalf. I truly enjoyed the care I have been given and the interaction provided during their visits. Enhabit has taken great care of me for the past 4 years. I see a RN (Julie H.) weekly. I've been taken care of by PT, OT, wound care, xray tech and each of them were very professional. They have taken great care of me. I have never had a problem with Enhabit.If a provider is running behind schedule they call to let me know. In this profession things can't always be on time. Other patients may need longer visits. I have never seen a doctor on my scheduled time. Just be understanding, they are doing the best they can.

I used them last year for wound care and OT when I had my left shoulder replaced. They were wonderful then. Just had my right shoulder replaced on 10/9/23 and contracted them again. They are now absolutely horrible. Always have to argue with them about coming out to change my dressing. I'm a widower who lives alone with no designated caregiver and they want me to have someone else over so the nurse can show that person how to clean and dress my wound! That's the nursing company's freaking job!!!!They always give me a hard time on the phone about it even though I had my surgeons office speak to them about it.
