“Dr. Lee was very compassionate and willing to work with me when I brought my elderly hen in for a mirade of issues. She did unfortunately pass but the effort shown to her helped to improve her quality of life up to her stroke, and after the stroke he was willing to script out steroids to reduce the inflammation.
And I hate to say this, but the receptionist is going to keep me from returning. I informed her that my hen had died, and I didn't receive any condolence card (I was hoping to get one for the memorial scrapbook I put together). It's not devastating but I feel that it wasn't considered important since many people consider chickens, JUST a chicken. Then today I had an emergency with a rooster and without missing a beat was told I could drop him off but there was no time for the doctor to look at him today. That was not confidence inspiring, so I went all the way up to Lookout Mountain at Mountain Hospital for Animals. The receptionist there actually asked the doctor if he could look at my rooster, and encouraged me to come asap. I do believe Dr. Lee would have, as well, had the receptionist here just asked.”
