The sites are very nice and seems to be well kept. The times considering the states safer at home orders make it tough to fully evaluate their potential here. Two of the bath houses are closed along with the clubhouse. The pool and spa are open. The pool doesn't seem to be heated However the spa is nice. The cable tv is adequate but the WiFi is minimal at best. I was told by the provider that the equipment is older and has limitations. So with limited things to do the internet becomes more essential. It appears that the resort may be understaffed .. All and all is a bit pricey but will give them another try one day..
Spent a week here in November of 2019. Great RV resort. Pool clubhouse and a lake. Spacious concrete pad sites. Our site had an outdoor kitchen and a screened in cabana. Very clean and friendly resort. Pet friendly
While planning a trip to the Gulf Shores it was obvious that I had waited too long to book a RV site in close proximity to the beach, after looking for something relatively close to the beach we came across Bella Terra, it was a bit pricey but the photos and description pretty much sold me, after doing some additional research on the web I booked it online and paid the deposit. The online process was painless and I even received a follow up call confirming everything was taken care of, actually I received a number of follow up calls leading up to our arrival. If you are planning a trip here there are a number of thing you need to know, most importantly there are no signs along the expressway so you will need to pay attention to the GPS or the written directions or you miss the turn if that happens you'll have to make two u-turns to get back. Well we finally made it about fifteen minutes prior to the office closing we received several calls from Carolyn along the way ensuring we would have everything we needed once we arrived in case the office closed prior to our arrival, she is a great part of the staff here and pays close attention to the details which is so important. It's a very beautiful property that has not been fully developed but it appears all the amenities are in place including a beautiful clubhouse, there's no doubt it's quite exclusive but without being pretentious. The lots are spacious and well laid out but it's obvious it's still a very young resort, the palm trees are sparsely scattered across the property so there isn't much shade which is a negative in my opinion hopefully you have dual a/c units if you're planning a visit during the summer months, I'm sure this was nothing more than a farmer's field prior to being converted into this luscious property exactly like the fields surrounding it. We enjoyed our time here but was a little disappointing in its location, it's about eight miles from the beach and the are no sidewalks along the highways in close enough proximity to ride bikes anywhere off property safety. Our tow car isn't equipped with a bike rack so we were confined to the property in regards to bike riding which gets a little repetitious. If you're looking for a quite serene setting to relax in a very beautiful Motor Coach Resort and your Coach is at least 32 feet in length then maybe this is the place for you. As nice as the staff and the resort is, it's not something that fits our lifestyle at this time...
