I am a long time customer of David Stewart and his crew doing business as The Handymen LLC in Foley. This time I used David and his company for Hurricane Sally repairs. I was fortunate that I had minor damage to my home. However, the fact that my damage was not major caused some of the contractors I spoke to to put me off or quote me exorbitant prices to do the work. The Handymen came out and did roof work one weekend and then David personally came by on a Sunday afternoon and repaired a window for me. David told me how the job was going to be done and the materials required. Again, not a huge project but one that required skill, knowledge, and the correct tools. Of course it turned out well. I have used this company on two other occasions for exterior work on my townhome. I know they are licensed in Gulf Shores and have done many projects here. I have not had to call them out to “repair” their repairs like some of the others that I have used previously. I have no reservations in recommending The Handymen LLC of Foley to others seeking home repairs.

Dave is very, very responsive. We recently had a failing smoke alarm that was going off in our beach rental condo and we had guests there. It was a Sunday morning and we live 6 hours away so we really needed to get someone quickly over there to take care of the situation. Dave called me right back and then headed straight to the unit and installed four new smoke detectors for us, per our request. He did a professional job, used larger cover plates where needed to avoid needing touch up paint, was pleasant to work with, kept us informed, made our guest happy, charged a very fair price and didn't mark up his materials.
