Vernon's Barber Shop was a Fairhope staple since 1967, offering a classic barber experience. This gem provided 5-star haircuts at an unbeatable price. With a thorough and kind approach, the barber created a joyous atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a great haircut. Many customers appreciated how Vern took his time to ensure clients looked their best, making his shop a favorite among locals. Sadly, Vern passed away in May 2025, and the shop is now permanently closed. He was known as one of the last great old-time barbers, and his legacy will be missed by all of Fairhope.
