We had to have our sweet 17yr old baby put down on Monday. She was my childhood pet and I was a hysterical mess. All of the staff from the front desk when I called to when we left was amazing. We have never felt so cared for at a vets office before. Dr Hendrix was patient with us and gave us as much time as we needed and we never felt rushed. Today I check the mail and they sent us a signed card and a sweet poem. We will never use another vet and I cannot thank the amazing staff enough fir making us feel so loved and cared for ❤️

We brought our dog to Animal Health Center for an emergency after he was ran over back in July. Everyone we encountered was so kind and accommodating to us as we brought him in hysterically. Dr. Hendrix was in surgery when we arrived but was willing to come out to care for our boy. He ended up staying for two nights and we never had to question if he was in good hands as Dr Hendrix called and updated us multiple times a day. Weeks later our Ranger boy made a full recovery and is back to his normal playful self, thanks to the awesome care he received. We will be making this our regular vet and transferring our other pets for their routine visits. Thank you!!
We absolutely love Dr. Jake Hendrix! He is so sweet and caring. Dr. Jake takes excellent care of my three beagle babies. My pocket beagle, Mary, was bitten by a snake yesterday. Dr. Jake gave her an anti-venom IV, and kept her overnight for observation. Today, she is so much better. The anti-venom and antibiotics made the swelling go down and helped Mary recover quicker. We are so happy to have her home because of Dr. Jake’s great care! I highly recommend Dr. Jake Hendrix to everyone in the area who has a fur baby.
