“Shireman's Barbershop has been our only barber since moving to Athens and finding Mrs. Becky. She is always on time, does excellent work, treats my sons with such kindness, and always makes them look their best even accommodating their personal hairstyle choices. Every experience at the shop has been excellent and I think it exemplifies some of the best of Athens-- community focused, excellent customer service and you feel like family. Today I was able to observe Mrs. Becky gently, carefully and with the utmost respect and concern care and style one of her older clients-- she is a true gem!

While they often work in the many walk-ins that come in personally I love and appreciate the opportunity to make appointments because we have never had to wait and they are very busy (for good reasons) so I recommend calling ahead. I have been able to get an appointment in the same week when needed.“

I saw someone left a fuming review about military cuts and being a former Marine, all of my cuts here would've been within regulations. That review also claimed to have racial bias against white people. They always get this gringo looking fresh. Don't listen to the Karen's. Ramirez barbershop will have you walking out feeling sharp.“

Excellent experience at Sports Clips in Athens, Alabama. I got a haircut, beard trim, and shampoo, and the service was outstanding. The female stylist was working by herself from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. most mornings, including December 17 when she cut my hair, and still took her time and never rushed the service.

The haircut was exactly what I asked for, the beard trim was clean and sharp, the shampoo and conditioner was relaxing and professional. She’s incredibly hard-working, skilled, and genuinely cares about her clients. One of the best Sports Clips experiences I’ve had — I’ll definitely be back.

Update: I went back on Tuesday, January 13 or Wednesday, January 14 and got a haircut. It was the best fade I’ve ever gotten. You’ve got great people working for you here at this location. Thank you so much SportsClips Athens! If I’m ever in town again I need a haircut, I’m going to this location again.“
