I normally don't write reviews for businesses on the web but after reading a couple of the comments below, I felt compelled to do so. I've been doing business with Sabel Steel for close to 10 years now. I've purchased steel from them both for my farm and for my Ag Shop(I'm a Career Tech teacher). I've always been treated with courtesy from the girls in the office. When I request a quote online, it is always received promptly no matter the size of the quote. Sometimes I have the metal delivered and sometimes I pick it up. Either way, the drivers delivering and the guys at Sabel loading are courteous and willing to go the extra mile for me. I found the folks here to be quite helpful. They are truly set up to serve large, industrial customers, but they will sell to hobbyists also. You have to remember that their products come in large sizes and there will be both a minimum order and a charge for cutting. This is standard among the large suppliers...when they will actually sell to small customers. If you need a foot then order at any number of online retailers or go to a big box store. If you need 60' of angle iron for a welding project then come here and save a lot of money over the aforementioned bog box stores.
