My best friend had a major stroke in February of 2024. It was at that time that I became connected with FirstLight. They have been fantastic since day one. My friend is “Difficult “ to say the least. Firstlight has been extremely caring and patient with him. They go above and beyond to ensure that he is taken care of. I can’t say enough good things about their caring staff. I have been extremely pleased with the care and attention provided to my mother by First Light of Dothan over the last four months. The staff have been wonderful, caring and fun! Their responsiveness to issues has been very positive. I would recommend them to anyone in the area seeking a caregiving provider.

I've been working for FirstLight since 2020. I had only planned on staying until pandemic restrictions passed, but I've stayed because i enjoy working with the clients.The pay/benefits are on par with restaurants/retail, but normal compared to other agencies. You'll receive small raises based on evaluation of your work.The company has also been very accommodating (time off for appts, vacation, etc), and the hours are flexible, which suits me.Overall, a good company to work for.
