I highly recommend Dr. Sarah Clark Cleghern and all of the ladies that assisted us at VisionFirst in Pell City. Overall, the staff was very friendly. Also, thank you to our friend, Christine Smith for getting us transferred to VisionFirst and for recommending Dr. Cleghern. Christine works at VisionFirst as she was transferred from Dr. Hicks office. The only thing that my mother and I did not like was the fact that there is an office combined with the VisionFirst Pell City office. As you walk in, there are two ladies that sit there at the different office that were not friendly. We were former clients of Dr. Eric Hicks and we were transferred to VisionFirst. So we didn’t understand how the place was laid out. We thought it was all together.
We have been patients at the Vision1st Trussville location for more than 12 yrs. Today will be my last day doing business w/this company. My daughter and I purchased eye glasses to the tune of $500+. When i came to pickup our glasses, I brought my husband’s glasses he purchased from them last year at his eye appt, which cost him more than $400. Recently he lost one of his lenses from his glasses so I thought they would be able to repair them at a minimal charge. When this young lady told me we would need to pay $400 to get a new lense because his warranty expired 2-days ago. All i could think was “ARE YOU KIDDING ME”. Thereafter, i said just give me his Rx and i’ll order them much cheaper online. At that point I advised them I dont like how they do business and wanted to return my $368 pair glasses I’ve only had 2 weeks. The young lady in the optical center advised me I could NOT return my glasses. At that point i requested her supervisor. Long story short, I returned the glasses by paying 20% restocking fee. I can not even understand how you can railroad the very customers you claim to appreciate their patronage. No More of My Business Nor Money Shall You Receive😡😡😡👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
