Sam has been giving me mandolin lessons since 2019, and he is a very good choice for players ranging from beginner to advanced. For me, every lesson was enjoyable even with a very focused plan. Sam explains concepts very well and will never hesitate to go back and make sure you understand it to your fullest extent. Sam encouraged me to branch out to find different rhythms/styles for my Berklee College of Music Audition, leading into my acceptance for the upcoming Fall semester.

Sam is a talented musician in all stringed instruments and all musical styles. More importantly he knows how to communicate his knowledge in a relatable way to his students. A great teacher of proper technique as well. I would highly recommend Sam for students of all ages.

My daughter started taking ukulele lessons with Sam right after she turned 8 and has now moved up to guitar a little over two years later. Sam is great to work with, always willing to work with our busy schedule to make lessons work, and my daughter really enjoys it and has learned a lot! Would highly recommend!
