Jamal is the best barber in the Hoover, Vestavia Hills, and Birmingham area. He's always on time, willing to work with your schedule, knows how to cut multiple grades of hair and hair styles, and always keeps his barber shop clean. And if you're ever looking for life advice, he's always willing to provide it to you free of charge. Get your haircut at Compliments Barber Shop, I promise you it will be the best haircut you had everytime!

My black husband took our bi racial boys here a few weeks ago. The man who did their hair cut did such a fantastic job! Was so lucky to find somewhere where they can get the cuts they like for their hair texture. A few days ago my husband called to make another appointment for them. The guy said "he doesn't really do kids hair" which by the looks of pictures and reviews is total bologna. Looks like he just doesn't want to do my kids hair. So that's the reason for a 4 star review.

Cool Place, Cool People, Cool Vibe. Came in didn't have an appointment but they were kind enough to buzz me anyway and have decent prices and good attitudes. Definitely Plan to return. Definitely Recommend. ?

All in a rather timely manner! Appointments are preferred yet walk-ins will always be welcomed.We know how poorly Barber shops are ran and how terrible most Barbers can be these days.
