I would like to share my experience with Bushelon Funeral Home when my mother passed away. Words cannot really express how grateful I am for Bushelon’s Funeral Home during my family’s mournful time. Mrs. LeVoria Bushelon and Ms. Arlillian Kate Bushelon were the best to work with. From the very beginning, they were very caring and empathetic. At the first appointment the day after my mother passed away, I was presented with the different packages and options available with compassion. Bushelon helped me decide what to choose per my mother’s wishes while at the same time making me feel valued and supported. This set the stage of what I needed to do to get through the entire process. The Bushelon family was patient with me and made it easy in my time of sorrow. Picking out the casket was made simplistic and stress-free than originally expected. Based on my mother’s suit that was provided, they had an idea what casket would wonderfully match, and they were spot on! With the video tribute and the program, I had many questions and iterations of changes. I was incredibly surprised at how Bushelon was so very patient with me when I made the first drafts to both and at how understanding they were with the subsequent changes. This resulted in the loveliest video tribute and beautiful funeral program. Bushelon assisted me in having my mother’s funeral streamed live and recorded on Facebook. Having a recorded funeral was great for those not able to attend, so they could watch the funeral anytime. At the graveside, Bushelon gracefully led the rose ceremony and said heartfelt words to provide comfort to me and my family. The afghan of my mother was simply beautiful! I truly believe deep within my heart their efforts made my mother enormously proud. Per my mother’s wishes and with Bushelon’s help, I was not only able to have a beautiful tribute but an elegant funeral and graveside farewell to say goodbye. Whereas people with other funeral homes may wait weeks for death certificates, Bushelon had mother’s ready the day of the funeral. Wow, I was impressed at how fast they arrived! That enabled me to start settling all her affairs immediately. Anything that helps to make it easier to get through the process is great as it is difficult trying to manage matters while going through the grieving period at the same time. Not only were my husband, son and I pleased, but the outstanding feedback received from extended family and friends also solidified the fantastic job that Bushelon provided! I am so very grateful to everything they did. I give Bushelon Funeral Home an A++ and honestly recommend them as I feel they will take care of you and your loved one with sincere first-rate attention and respect.
