When I walked in I knew I was in a REAL barber shop. Mr. Blevins gives an incredible old school men's haircut. Mr. Blevins is a great conversationalist, just what you should expect out of a real barber. Not many of these old school barbers left. Hot straight razor shave....awesome. Great experience and haircut. I'll be back!

There are NOT many great, old-school barbershops in the Birmingham area. By that, I mean, shops that are skilled with BOTH clippers AND shears. This place is very unique and is near the top in expertise and appeal. It is worth going just for the conversation. Mr. Blevins has been cutting hair for 60+ years. He enlisted in the Army shortly after the Korean War. Many of his brothers had fought in WWII. The gentleman's cut he gave with the shears up top was excellent. The fade down to almost a skin level on the sides was a bit uneven. That is why this is an "A-OK."

Well, men, this is the location. This is the spot. Absolutely. Most men I know absolutely LOVE a good Hot Foam shave and hair cut. This is where you can get it. Over the years, it seems that true Barber shops are fading away. By true, I mean one that will use Hot Foam, a Straight Razor and various other things that go along with the Barber Pole!
