One of our German Shepherds is very reactive and prior to our board and train here we had nothing but negative experiences or ones that made no difference. “I took my rescue puppy to Bell Creek to A) help me overcome my fears of my previous very other dog aggressive rescue dog, and b) to get some tools to help make sure I didn’t make the repeat unintended mistakes, just from not having the correct tools to work with. I started that process a year ago, and ended up completing 24 weeks of classes. I’d never taken a dog obedience class, and doing so was the best decision I could have made. All the tools really proved to have worked, and stuck (with continued work) this weekend while on a camping trip. I worked with Ruth for all of these classes, and can’t recommend her enough. Her calm energy helped my PTSD/anxiety of just having a dog around other dogs, and she communicated with me very well since I was always on edge a bit during class. These classes helped me and my dog form a great connection, and teamwork. It also helped us gain trust in each other, and how we need to work together.”
