“Community Helping Community 💚
A huge thank you to Vantage Builders & RONA for generously volunteering their time and expertise to help us bring the new Kalyna Family Resource Network (FRN) & The BASE Community Hub together.
Moving a retail counter and large wall cabinet was no small task. Their team carefully dismantled the pieces, relocated them to our new space, and reassembled everything — all while being friendly, helpful and incredibly generous with their time and skills.
This is what community helping community looks like.
Creating spaces for youth and families takes more than a building. It takes people who are willing to step forward, share their skills and invest in the community. Having knowledgeable, skilled tradespeople contribute their time helps us stretch our resources further and put more into the programs and opportunities we provide for young people.
We are grateful to Vantage Builders & RONA for being part of this next chapter and helping us build a space where youth development, connection and community can grow.
Thank you for helping us build more than a Community Hub — you’re helping us build community. 💚”
