I booked appointments for both my kids and myself with Juniper and am happy with the results all around. They were very friendly with my son. They chatted like old friends. They were sensitive to my daughter being a bit wiggly and this being her first haircut. I had a great experience since they were able to guide me on decisions for my cut. It turned out so well. Juniper is easy to book with, pleasant to be around, and great at their job. I highly recommend. 💛

I highly recommend going to Juniper for any type of cut, style. She has a awesome and welcoming personality! Definitely knows hair and has solutions to help with unmanageable or cranky hair. I am looking forward to my next appointment.

Jay is a multi talented professional. They are just as comfortable and talented cutting my 6 year old daughter's hair as they are my hair. Our family has had our hair cut by Jay for years. He is up for every challenge with good cheer and kindness. I highly recommend Jay for any and all hair care needs :)

Glamour & Grit Beauty is owned by Juniper Elvin. She uses she/her pronouns, and is a trans woman. She is a stylist, barber, and colourist who has been behind the chair since graduating Marvel Beauty College in 2011. With specializations in colour formulation, extensions, curls, waves, cutting, and barbering, she maintains a well-rounded skill set. Juniper believes that having a comfortable, accepting, and professional space for her clients is one of the most paramount aspects of having a private suite as people flourish in spaces that they’re nurtured in.
