Champions Health & Fitness is a great resource for Slave Lake, with partnerships in surrounding areas. The gym has a happy atmosphere, standard equipment, and a well-rounded selection for bodybuilding and powerlifters. The owner and employees provide great service. Although one of the more expensive gyms, it offers a good variety of equipment, 24-hour access, and a well-utilized space that doesn't feel crowded.
Absolutely beautiful gym since the upgrades. There is so much more room and a lot of new stuff. Very exciting to see such a nice upgrade for our town. The dry saunas were an amazing addition. The atmosphere is clean and well maintained. It’s nice to see a buisness owner who actually cares about the condition of his buisness. The gym I was a part of in my old town was falling apart, so starting up again in this new gym was quite the shock to me. It’s nice to see some pride in slave lake shown in this gyms construction.
The owner is fantastic and the employees provide great service. Pretty well rounded gym equipment for bodybuilding and for powerlifters. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.
One of the more expensive gyms I've been to in the last 10 years or so, but it's the only gym in town as far as I'm aware, so I'm just glad it's here. They've got a really good variety of equipment, and the small space is utilized really well. It doesn't feel too crowded but they seem to have at least one of everything. I suppose it's also nice that they're open 24 hours, although I'm not really a middle-of-the-night-exerciser myself.
