Marvellous charges 60.90 to tell me I had a leak, their quote to fix the leak was $2026.65 to find and fix leak, replace worn parts $3971.10, and finally $1748.25 to refill refrigerant!!! MHR quote of $1700 to replace a coil and refill. Marvellous quote on a new system, $60. MHR quote was free… marvellous quote total of $7746 to fix my 22,000 btu, MHR $4800 brand new 30,000btu… I spoke with MHR Friday, they came to my home Tuesday and fully installed my new unit by 2:00pm. MHR is not only my home contractor now but also my commercial contractor as well. The guys were respectful in conversation, quiet while they worked and did a very thorough clean up. We used MHR to replace our hot water tank. They gave us the best price with a great brand. Excellent service and price. Workmanship was outstanding. We also use MHR for the annual inspection of AC and furnace. They are always very helpful and respectful. We highly recommend them.
As you may appreciate when a furnace stops working in February there is a need to get it fixed as soon as possible. Medicine Hat Refrigeration and Air Conditioning came to my rescue. Not once. Not twice. They returned to my home a third time in the course of one week to get my furnace working. Even in a snow storm, they came to my home in a remote town. Always polite, prompt and efficient. I cannot recommend them enough and will engage them for any future Heating or air cooling needs in my home.
