“If you have ingrown nails, this post is for you.
I can't express how amazed I am with how Danyell introduced my 12 year old daughter to an ingrown nail corrector which is this teeny tiny nail brace. It's outstanding! There are no words to express as a mom, to see your daughter, who is a competitive skater, struggle with ingrown toenails, let alone other issues that arise with being in skates 4/5 days a week. We were bestfriends with bandaids, polyspourin, footbaths, Epsom salts, podiatrist appointments, antiseptic sprays, fungal issues, infections, etc. I go into the spa for my nail appointment and I'm approached with this brace; I just couldn't wrap my head around it. But we were already facing ingrown toenail bed removal as a possibility in the near future. I got educated real quick on the options available that I had no idea about. No podiatrist told us about these little braces.
So we made the choice to try these buddies. I mean, we are already besties with everything else, why not tack this onto the list!
2 big toes. Toe #1 fixed after 2 rounds! Unreal. She can actually clip her toenail!
Toe #2 is bad/severe. You have to understand that this toenail had actually fallen off months ago and the new nail was down (kind of embedded) and not growing out properly. Queue insanity for months. Than this brace comes along! It's magical! She still has possibly another round or maybe 2 more before it's corrected. You should see the transformation! This little side-kick literally straightened her toenail and gently raised it so it grows straight and properly! She just clipped it for the first time in months! It's unreal!! We still do footbaths because I do believe its helping this little nail along! For the first time, we no longer have to dig out the ingrown, or take her to a podiatrist to trim her toes and remove the ingrown. We went from 6 week podiatrist appointments to none.
