Wonderful service! A true life saver! Today April 20, 2021 I accidentally sat on my glasses and they got destroyed. One of the lenses popped out and it was so crooked that it was impossible to even fold them. I hurried to the Walmart Optical Center and was greeted by a very polite lady (unfortunately I did not catch her name, as I was so upset by what happened to my glasses). She asked me for 10 minutes and she would see what she could do, as she was not sure the arms of the glasses could be fixed. This is the Vision Centre inside the Leduc Walmart. I've been getting headaches and wanting to change my glasses, so I booked a last minute eye appointment here. I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in for 6pm. You don't need an appointment if you just want to browse around or buy something like glasses (if you know your prescription), but you do need an appointment for the eye exam. They take Alberta Blue Cross if you have it. If not you have to pay up front and go through any benefits plan you have to get reimbursed. Remember to keep your receipts and all that.
