**************scam**************DISHONEST!!!!! ****************scam**************** Went to High River Toyota about a month ago to get my oil changed. While getting the oil changed i was notified that my water pump was leaking. Fine. Spoke to the service clerk and asked to setup a date to replace. They said none in stock and 3 week wait time. Fine. Also asked them to order Hydraulic suspension fluid to have it flushed. At the time when changing the oil i requested to have brake fluid changed and power steering changed. Which normally means letting everything out, and putting in new fluid. The invoice said they did that. Got a little impatient waiting for a replacement water pump and while at a local Okotoks mechanic where we service all our work trucks, i asked if he knows if these water pumps are available anywhere. He looked it up on the computer and said there is 3 in stock in Calgary at the Toyota dealership. Being ticked off a little i called High River toyota and spoke to Rick (service manager, i think that's what his name is) and he said pump is coming and will be here on Dec 16. FINE. Went to High River Toyota today for 7:30am before work to drop off my vehicle and to pick it up after work. I asked when the vehicle would be ready for pickup and Shaelyn said at noon. FINE At 12:31pm i got a text message on my phone that my vehicle was ready. AWESOME After managing to get off work early i drove there from Okotoks to pickup my vehicle. Spoke to Shaelyn at the front counter and she assured me everything was done. Got the bill. $2009.36!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at the bill and it clearly states that the labour to replace water pump was $600.40. Labour to replace Hydraulic Suspension fluid $126.40 And finally, labour to remove transmission pan, pull out the filter, and bolt the transmission pan back on $426.60 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????????? That totals to 1153.40 dollars. Clearly at their service desk it states that the labour is at 158$/hour. 1153.40/158=7.3 hours, NOT 4.5 hours that the vehicle was there being worked on which the invoice CLEARLY STATES. So obviously this is a SCAM AND a FRAUD. Look at the invoice clearly with "Opened date and time" and when the service order/customer copy was printed, and at a screenshot of the message i have received from them at 12:31pm. When i asked Shaelyn about it her anser was that they have "a very experienced mechanic that can do these things quicker", quicker? You mean travel in time, and SCAM people for 7.3 hours of labour while only working 4.5 hours????? SCAM!!!!!!! FRAUD!!!!!!!!! DISHONEST!!!!!!!!!! IT STATES RIGHT ON THE INVOICE HOW LONG YOU WORKED ON THE VEHICLE!!!!!!!! Went to my vehicle and vehicle has marks all over body with dirty greasy hands. My belt squeals, when i went back inside and asked Shaelyn about the belt her answer was that it's cold and that's why the belt squeals. Do you hear any other vehicles on the road with squealing belts? because it's cold? The belt didn't squeal before!!!! Also, my hydraulic suspension does not work the way it worked before and the hydraulic pump is noisy, which wasn't noticeable before and takes 3 times as much time to lower or raise the vehicle. My advice STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!DISHONEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! look at the invoice and see for yourself. One more thing. I requested my brake fluid and power steering fluid to be changed. Which means draining it and refilling it through the reservoir in the engine bay. By looking at today's invoice i question their actual "work" performed as my suspension fluid was not changed and flushed out of the system and only drained and refilled from the reservoir. ******Not what standard Toyota/Lexus procedures are for REPLACING FLUIDS. QUESTIONABLE WORK!!!!! STAY AWAY. I specifically asmed Mitch if the mechanic knows how to deal with a Hydraulic suspension on Toyota Landruisers and Lexus LX570 -LC200 series and he said yes, which obviously they dont . I will be contac
