There isn’t one negative thing I can say about The Second Pup. From day one they have shown our fur baby so much love. As soon as we say she is going to see her friends she bolts for the door and can’t wait to get out of the car! I have never met a group of people who care about other people’s pets as much as they do. Leaving your pets in someone else’s care can be a scary thing. I can honestly tell you that if you choose to leave your pets in their care, you won’t regret it!

I’m so thankful for The Second Pup!! My dog Oakley can have some separation anxiety but he barely looks back when we arrive because he’s so excited to play. As soon as we turn onto the road he starts whimpering from excitement. All the staff are amazing, care a LOT, and are very patient (he can get extremely jumpy and excited). I love the picture updates on Facebook! You can see from the pic attached that he’s truly thrilled to be there. As well as the aftermath of a LONG nap when he gets home!!

We’re the owners of Kobe. We were very worried about where he would stay while we went on a family vacation. He had never been to daycare or boarding before. We checked many places around Edmonton, Nisku, Parkland, and Devon, but we weren’t happy with them.
Luckily, we found The Second Pup. They suggested we try a few daycare visits first to help Kobe adjust. It really helped!
Kobe stayed for 23 days, and we’re so thankful for the love and care he received. The staff, especially Mama, were amazing. He came home happy and healthy.
