At 3 p.m. last Friday, I called Ricci Hair Co. on Jasper Avenue. My friend, just released after serious cancer treatment, looked exhausted. I suggested that, while waiting for her Red Eye bus home to see her family, she have her hair revitalized. I asked receptionist Krista if there was any way they could fit her in.
