Initially, I left a review as a formal complaint regarding confusing contract extension information. At sign-up, I was given multiple program-length options and repeatedly asked whether I could extend the contract later without changing the original end date. I was clearly told that the end date would remain the same, with only additional months added and the revised payment taking effect from the next month of the change.

I later realized that I misunderstood the December 2026 vs. January 2026 cutoff, as I started attending in December 2025 and missed the specific date requirement. Because of this, the extension would correctly take effect from February 2026 rather than January 2026. At the time, I felt disappointed because it appeared the contract would restart from February 2026 to January 2027, which conflicted with my original understanding.

However, I truly appreciate that Chris, the owner, personally reached out to me and took the time to clearly explain the contract terms in detail. He was professional, patient, and transparent, and he cleared up the confusion respectfully without any pressure. His response showed genuine care for customers and their concerns.

Most importantly, my son absolutely loves the classes, and that speaks volumes about the quality of instruction and environment at Arashi-Do. Based on the positive resolution, professionalism shown, and the excellent experience my son continues to have, I am happy to update my rating and continue my son’s Jiu-Jitsu learning with Arashi-Do.
